Business Process Management (BPM)
Business process management (BPM) deals with the identification, design, documentation, implementation, direction and improvement of business processes.
Holistic approaches to BPM go beyond asking purely technical questions. In particular, they also address organisational aspects such as the strategic orientation of a business, its organisational culture, or the integration and leadership of the individuals involved in such processes. “Who does what, when, how and with what tools?” is a central question.
BPM – Business Process Management
Specific criteria are used to improve and direct processes. These criteria can be shown on a “balanced scorecard”. The goal of business process management is to make use of the information that exists in every business regarding its own processes, in order for the business to attune itself to customers and therefore achieve its goals more effectively.
